The saints of Xinzo
- Santa Mariña, patron of the parish of Xinzo, is the beheaded saint whose feast is celebrated on 18 July, the day of her martyrdom. See Festivals of Santa Mariña.
- San Sebastián, co-patron of the parish (old church) and patron of the Local Police, a native of Narbonne (the source writes "Carbona") and educated in Milan, captain of the praetorian guard, sentenced by Emperor Maximinus to die by arrows, healed by Irene and then flogged; he is invoked against plague [1].
- St Andrew the Apostle, patron of the chapel of Baronzás [1].
